Where Reformer sits in your Clinical Pilates roadmap

Reformer is the key mid-stage step that unlocks the rest of the equipment pathway. It is the first major course for clinicians, and the second step after Mat for new teachers.

Mat Teacher Track

Mat → Reformer → Tower → Cadillac → Small apparatus

Once your Mat foundation is in place, Reformer becomes the essential next step, giving you the confidence and skills to handle a broader range of clients and roles.

Clinician Track

Reformer → Tower → Cadillac → Small apparatus

As a clinician you can enter directly at Reformer, then layer on Tower, Cadillac and small apparatus as you build a full equipment-based rehab and performance service.

What Reformer graduates say

Our Reformer course has helped clinicians reshape their rehab pathways and given new teachers the confidence to step into equipment-based roles.

“Reformer completely changed how I structure my MSK rehab. I now have a clear framework to progress patients from early loading through to end-stage performance, and the mentorship meant I never felt stuck with complex cases.”

– Sarah, Physiotherapist

“Coming from Mat training, I was nervous about equipment. The way the team layered the repertoire and explained the ‘why’ behind each choice made Reformer feel accessible and exciting rather than intimidating.”

– Emma, Pilates Teacher

“Reformer training opened a new revenue stream in our clinic. I feel equipped to justify my exercise choices to both patients and referrers, which has been huge for my confidence and career progression.”

– James, Sports Therapist

Where Tower sits in the Clinical Pilates pathway

Tower follows Reformer on both the Mat Teacher and Clinician tracks and prepares you for Cadillac and small apparatus specialisations.

Mat Teacher Track: Mat → Reformer → Tower → Cadillac → Small apparatus

Tower consolidates and extends your Reformer skillset, opening up more advanced equipment roles and teaching opportunities.

Clinician Track: Reformer → Tower → Cadillac → Small apparatus

Tower adds vertical loading and multi-directional vector work that can be harder to access on Reformer alone, expanding your clinical toolbox for higher complexity clients.

Anatomy Training

Deepen your understanding of human movement and clinical anatomy to support safer, more effective teaching and rehabilitation. This practical training covers regional anatomy, movement analysis, and clinical application for Pilates instructors.

Tower graduates on complex rehab & confidence

Tower tends to attract clinicians and teachers working with higher complexity cases. Here is how they describe the impact on their practice.

“Tower has become my go-to for complex spinal presentations. I finally feel like I have enough options to meet patients where they are and progress them with confidence.”

– Rachel, Physiotherapist

“The integration of Tower with my existing Reformer and Mat work has transformed how I programme for long-standing and multi-site pain cases.”

– Laura, Pilates Teacher & Sports Therapist

“Tower training gave me a language and framework to explain complex programming to both clients and referrers, which has grown my referral base and my confidence.”

– Mark, Sports Scientist
